Illness Guidelines

We have had several children with cold symptoms followed by a fever. A few days later they develop a rash.

If your child has a fever of 100 degrees or higher (taken under the arm), please keep them home. They can return to school when they have been fever free for 24 hours.

If your child develops a rash, please have her/him checked by your doctor before coming to school. Your child may return with a Dr.'s note and must be able to participate in normal childcare activities. Please check the attendance clip board for information regarding common infant rashes.

If you have any questions regarding our policies and/or whether your child can return to school, please call the infant room. Thank you.

Happy Birthday!!!

Happy First Birthday to
Olivia, Tansy, Josephine and Ana Elisa!!!
My, look how you have grown!!!

Summer is here???

WELCOME! Gregory (younger brother of Alex, soon to be an Eagle) and Cooper.

Sadly, we say "Good-Bye" to Ana Elisa who is staying home with mom and brother for the summer. Also, we are saying "Good-Bye" to Piper who is going to be cared for by a very close friend of the family. We will miss you!

The babies are experiencing colds and coughs. Please remember to wash your child's hands and your hands upon entering the classroom. Thank you!
On sunny days, please apply sunscreen in the morning before coming to school or upon arrival. We will be ready to take a morning walk if the opportunity arises. If we go outside in the afternoon we will reapply sunscreen.

Great news to share! Rocco is walking! Olivia is taking steps!

Just a reminder that if your family is planning a vacation, please let the infant room know.

Happy Spring!

We are looking forward to warmer weather! We hope to be going for walks so it's a good idea to have a jacket and sun hat in your child's bin each day. We want to be ready for fun in the sun!

Have you filled out a sunscreen form for your child? Let us know if you need one.

We would like to welcome Amy and her family to the Infant Room. Amy is doing great and is adjusting well to her new surroundings and friends.
We sadly said "goodbye" to Kate and her big brother Alec. We will miss them.

Happy Birthday!
Rocco turned one on April 3rd and Ana Elisa will turn on on April 26th!

As a reminder, please check your child's bin regularly to be sure it is stocked with extra clothes and wraps/diapers. Thank you.

Happy New Year!

As we begin this new year, it's a time to reflect on the past and look to the coming year.
Last year, we welcomed many infants and families. We watched the infants grow, learn to roll over, crawl, take their first steps and say their first words.
Welcome to Tansy, Olivia, Jakob and Mia. The children and families have adjusted well.

Exciting news!!!
*Josie is walking! *Ruby is walking
*Caroline is scooting *Rocco is crawling and pulling himself up
*Josephine is sitting up *Ana Elisa is sitting, starting finger foods
*Tansy is interested in crawling and having lots of tummy time
*Halle is rolling over. *Olivia is sitting up
*Jakob has started solid foods and is taking long naps
*Mia is working on rolling over

I am very grateful for our wonderful Infant Room staff. We have worked together as a team for seven years. We all have a genuine love for the children. Our goal continues to be to provide a safe, caring, fun and engaging environment. We want our infants and families to feel welcome and secure. We are here to help and support our families through this year of positive changes.
We look forward to sharing this New Year with you!
